Our Bariatric Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RNY) Starter Kit optimizes patient health by combining our one month supply of both Multi-Complete 45 and Calcium Citrate Soft Chews. The multivitamin and Calcium selection in this kit is based on a split-dose protocol, which may aid in optimal  supplement absorption for a malabsorptive surgery. All products in this set are also available separately under the respective nutrient section.

Daily dose:

  • Multi-Complete 45 - 2 Chewables or 2 Capsules or as directed.
  • Calcium Soft Chew – 3 Soft Chews (to provide 1500 mg of calcium citrate daily) or as directed.
  • Appropriate for: Gastric Bypass / Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy.

    Multi-Complete 45:

    • Celebrate Multi-Complete 45 contains all of the vitamins and minerals in a two per day, split dose option, patients just need to add calcium. This option is perfect for the patient who is sensitive to higher doses and needs to split dosing for better tolerance. This bariatric multivitamin meets the ASMBS standards of multivitamin and iron after weight loss surgery. This integrated formula provides maximum bioavailability as we carefully selected each form of vitamin and mineral to enhance interaction and absorption. MC- 45 is available in two chewable flavors (Forest Berry and Watermelon) or in a capsule. 
    • The only bariatric split dose capsule with iron available in 2/day dosage. 
    • The only bariatric capsule to contain 50/50 blend of vitamin b12 (Methylcobalamin and Cyanocobalamin). 
    • Water-Miscible Vitamins A, D and E (WM): We utilize dry, water-miscible forms of vitamins A, D and E to further enhance absorption. This means that these nutrients do not need to be taken with fat to optimize absorption, unlike many fat-soluble vitamins included in other brands. 
    • Chelated Minerals: Mineral-Chelation means "attaching to." By chelating our minerals to an amino acid (the building block of protein), we have increased the likelihood that these minerals will be absorbed in a low-acidic environment.
    CALCIUM CITRATE SOFT CHEWS:
      • Our Calcium soft chews are soft, delicious, won’t stick to your teeth and provide calcium citrate (500 mg) and vitamin D3 (500 IU/12.5 mcg) in each serving. This bariatric supplement meets the ASMBS standards of calcium supplementation after weight loss surgery. 
      • Water-Miscible Vitamin D (WM): We utilize a dry, water-miscible form of vitamin D to further enhance absorption. This means that this nutrient does not need to be taken with fat to optimize absorption, unlike many fat-soluble vitamins included in other brands.

      • Patients should follow the instructions of their bariatric surgeon regarding proper supplementation. Proper supplementation should be viewed as an individualized regimen based on each patient’s individual medical history, laboratory studies, and current medication use.

      Multi-Complete 45:

      • All iron dosages are listed as elementary values.
      • Our formula uses a 50/50 blend of methylcobalamin and cyanocobalamin to optimize absorption and prevent deficiencies.
      • By blending pre-formed (retinyl palmitate) and beta-carotene to make up our vitamin A, we are providing the safest and most effective approach available for this key vitamin. This blend allows your body to regulate its intake of vitamin A, absorbing only what it needs to function properly and excrete the rest.
      • It is important to keep in mind that the ASMBS guidelines will require additional calcium supplementation. This product may NOT be taken at the same time as calcium to prevent absorption interference. Allow a 2-hour window.
      • It is important to look for a product manufactured in a GMP Certified facility. A GMP Certified facility is one that has proven to have good manufacturing practices. This is a pharmaceutical certification that ensures products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.
